First time tanners should use a lotion that doesn't have strong amounts of accelerators because the skin will go red faster, and this is not what you want. You want to able to tan every second day.

If you are a first time tanner with a little darker skin and can tan outside without burning, we suggest a product with a milder bronzer 

If you have been tanning for a while and have a base tan, you can use virtually anything you want as long as it has more ingredients – we want to see results at this stage! However, you should understand that tanning is a process that takes time and that you need to switch your lotions around.

If you are a "tingle lover" you probably have tried using the meanest and nastiest tingle on the market because you are at a plateau. To get past the plateau, you have to go off the tingle and use a regular lotion for a while, before going back to using the tingle lotion. This will allow you to feel the burn again, which is what you are looking for because you relate the tingle to getting results.

Bronzers are usually the most confusing – there are bronzers with DHA, bronzers that are user-friendly, and bronzers that have dual, triple, quadruple and so on. Why shouldn't you be confused? Stick to a user friendly bronzer or one that is stain and streak free. They give you immediate satisfaction and they don't stain your clothing.
